Makes me appreciate Hartley that much more - walks the fine line between being the boss and being one of the boys.
I think Roy is smarter than some may give him credit. He's going to have some moments but he should know better being a former pro that being a tyrant won't make for a long coaching career. That said he has that abrasive and combustive personality that does wear thin over time. Reminds me of Jim Harbaugh in San Francisco where we are seeing after continual improvement from bad team to Superbowl Contender he's wearing out his welcome with players and management. That said Sakic I'm sure will be solidly in his corner and things will have to go very bad for him or ownership to fire Roy.
