I disagree. I think shows that have a crazy pace non stop suffer burn out. You never get to know any characters as no time for story is given. It is flat out run and gun. Imagine if we were at this story point in season 3. The prison was only 3 episodes condensed, I think you would have lost a lot in who these people are and how they have changed and why.
I am not saying the pace has been done well here. It has dogged it at the farm and the prison. Yet I think if they space out the character building parts, and keep a fast pace in between, I think this show will be that much better.
I will say this far in is the best season so far, and the acting is the best it's ever been. If they can work in a few deep parts here and there throughout the season to explain things I think this could be the best season yet.
