I don't know what the truth is here but I would look at Ghomeshi's facebook post with a little bit of skepticism.

This blog, from a woman whose credibility we can't verify, about a man who was allegedly a little overly flirtatious, a bit full of himself, and basically looking to score makes you question his Facebook post? If this woman's account of the date is accurate (how can anyone know, but I am no more likely to believe her account than I am his), I'd say Ghomeshi was acting like many guys before him- a bit of a creepy horn-dog, but certainly not potential sex predator looking to break the law

If she did respond to his advances the way she claims, then Ghomeshi must be the biggest idiot on the planet to not pick up on it.

If he's the person described here, I can see why the CBC cut him loose. He's obviously trying to frame the situation being about his taboo bedroom antics, when its his over the line persistence that's the issue.

I read the article fairly quickly and didn't pay attention to every detail that may have included more incriminating material, but you can see why CBC cut him loose based on this?? Because he was acting like a cheeseball on a date, trying to get laid? Certainly he might deserving of creep warning to this woman's friends, but I am not sure it factors in here at all.
