Have the Flames ever even ONCE stated that Sven needs to score more? It was never about his offensive game. It was about his complete game.
Toffoli plays on the defensive-oriented LA. That team has scored less in the regular season than Calgary has in 2 of the last 3 years. If someone makes the argument that Sven is being mistreated and held back because he scores at the same rate as Toffoli does, then I will make the same ridiculous assertion that Calgary as a team is being treated unfairly by the NHL and held back because they score goals at a better clip than LA.
Toffoli learned to play a complete game. He does everything to help that team win. Baertschi has a (in my opinion) higher ceiling than Toffoli, but he has developed his game slower. Sven will be an NHL player - and I am betting a good one, but as of now he is DEFINITELY behind Toffoli.
This is what becomes irritating arguing with advanced stats guys sometimes. I love stats (advanced or otherwise), but I can't stand it when people focus on a few stats that fall incredibly short of painting the complete picture, but it just conveniently proves their point.

I hate to be picky but last year when Sven was sent down there was expectations of 10 shots a game and lighting up the AHL.
