They have a little "20" stamped in the plastic at the bottom of the cup, which usually indicates the capacity in ounces. I believe the "bottoms up" cups only hold 18 oz.
1 US pint = 16 US oz = 473.176 mL
1 Imp pint = 20 Imp oz = 568.261 mL
20 US oz = 20.8168 Imp oz = 591.471 mL
Regular can of beer = 355 mL
Super can of beer = 473 mL
Regular bottle of beer = 341 mL
Another factor that I don't think has been mentioned is that games run a lot faster than they used to. Unless a game goes into OT, it's very rare for most games to go beyond the 2:30 mark. When I was a kid, I remember games routinely pushing 3 hours, and often running over the 3 hour mark.
