And it's not like he's even admitting to going into camp out of shape, just that he hasn't been on the ice. Having a mental break from hockey could do him just as much good as spending everyday during the summer on the ice. It's not like he spent the summer drinking Caesars and golfing everyday (Well he probably did do the latter), just cause he's not on the ice doesn't mean he's not working out. Some players need to just completely step away from hockey to allow themselves to recharge for next year.
