Take the Davinci Code for example, how many critics said it was going to be a bust? And look how well it did.

I completely understand what you are trying to say and I agree to some degree. Movies, like food are a matter of tastes, but how many people that you know actually like burned food? Uwe Boll's movies are like a good dish served to you burned. The concept for the stories could be alright if handled by a better filmmaker.
