I found this oldie but a goodie and I couldn't resist - sorry, Red John. Last two seasons: WJHL final appearance and would likely have won it if not for losing best player Griffin Reinhart for the series, following up by a Memorial Cup title.

Saw them play in Kamloops near the end of the season, they looked dominant controlling the game completely and up 2-0 after two, but once the Blazers found a bit of success against them the Oil Kings went away and quickly...Brossoit wasn`t all that sharp in the 3rd and the Blazers won 3-2 in the final minute. Obviously only one game but still think the Oil Kings aren`t quite the shoo-in to win the WHL that their stats might make them look.
Curtis Lazar is going to be quite the hockey player though. One to keep an eye on.
