If you can't guide you car into a parking spot without the help of another car being there you shouldn't be driving. Knowing where the corners and sides of you car is a basic driving skill. If this is really the justification that you can't park between the lines you are the cause of the WRGMG thread and a struggler.
Regardless of all the other discussion in this thread if the above is your real logic, get driver training, go out and practice in parking lots, do something to improve your driving for all of us because you are a danger on the road. It should not be easier to park beside someone then it is to park with no cars around.
