I honestly doubt they brought a civilian plane down on purpose, it makes no sense. So if it was a terrible mistake I don't think their morality will be questioned, just their competance. What will come of this is that there will be a lot more eyes on the conflict and
if Russia has been suppling them it will seriously impact their position in the world view.
The problem is that Russia has shown they have little regard for their world view right now, so in the end, unless it can be proven as a deliberate strike there really isn't anything anyone will do other than produce rhetoric and mourn the loss.
