We get our plate design from a random person that works in the graphics department of a American chemical company. Actually shouldn't Rick Bell have praised this move, sounds like something he'd suggest if the government had spent money to commission it.
Aren't there any Alberta artists past or present that deserve some recognition?
(I actually hate plates with realistic art on them, it's like getting a coffee mug and t-shirt at the mall with your kids' picture printed on it for grandma)

I'm a big fan of graphic plates if they're done well. I've collected them for years and there are some great ones. But if you've been in Montana, there's some god awful ones as well.
