Oilers went up 4-1 with 16:29 left in the third, then Iggy, Glencross, and Staios scored to tie it, and the Flames won in the shootout. It was the only time I was glad Staios was on the Flames' roster.
Also, it's crazy how much both teams' rosters have turned over in only 3 seasons. The only players left on the Flames are Gio, Backlund, Stajan, Glencross, and Bouma; and the only Oilers left are Eberle, Jones, and Petry (plus Hall who was injured). |
Gio Backlund and Bouma have improved greatly. Oilers are consistently no good
