Sort of.

Salary on Capgeek includes all compensation. So for example, in 2012-13 to 2015-16 he receives a cheque for $13 million at the start of every season (July 1) then $1 million divided into paycheques (two weeks?) for the rest of the season, for a total of $14 million a season. So he makes $80 million over the first 6 seasons, and $30 million over the final 8.

Philly structured it like that in their offer sheet as they believed the Predators wouldn't be able to afford the signing bonuses, which must be paid regardless of lockouts, rollbacks or buyouts. Also, as the offer sheet was in mid-July, 2012, the Predators paid him $27 million in the first calendar year:
Mid-July, 2012: $13 million
Season salary: $1 million
July 1, 2013: $13 million
