Fair enough, but the spirit of my initial comment was to suggest that the cup was going to be won by the Western champs and that the Eastern championships were effectively only for show as a result.
The Rangers could make it as close as they wanted, but it seemed fairly clear that they never really stood much of a chance of actually winning it.
Now lets see if they can even win a game.
