Yeah, I played a strange game, because it was the second one. There was a lot more innocence to the first game as there were no past game patters to go off of and for mafia "I'm trying to figure out the game" posts were a lot more acceptable until later in that game.
I knew after a couple of days that I had played in a suspicious manner, after being the most vocal about wanting to play in the second game. My strategy was that I was killed on the first day in the first game because I cam in guns a blazin, hunting for scum.
So I figured this game the way to stay alive a bit longer was to lay low at first, but not be one of those bottom 5 guys with 3 posts of "this game is crazy!".
Then as the game wore on I realized I'm a blabber mouth and can't play that way, so I kind of gave up and started posting my thoughts all the time. The only thing that kept me alive this long was legitimate innocence as a towns person. You post as much as I do and go as hard as I did at people and your mafia? There's no way you don't eventually slip up or be shown to be aligned with others by posting/voting patterns.
Nothing I said/did really aligned with anyone else, so even if I was a little suspicious, most people probably knew I was town.
Then the CrazyBaconLegs thing happened, and I became a huge centerpiece of the game after first becoming a target, then seeing an opportunity for my death to benefit us more than my input. Funny thing is, if we followed through with my lynching, it would have been way worse for us then just hitting CBL like we did.
Because then we would have had my death, then the next day of an automatic CBL death and we'd be way behind and starting fresh.
