It totally depends what kind of investor or trader you want to be. I assume you do not invest in real life?
There are many different strategies from technical to fundamental or both combined. For me I use a few different strategies. I have my value long term growth stocks like V, IRE, GTAT, EZPM in my portfolio. I also play momentums stocks like hoping to catch big runners and then getting out when the technical signals tell me to.
