There won't be the new long term full time coach until the new GM is picked at earliest, but how much rope can a coach get with the way they are playing now? Another month? It's not the "5-2 Ok effort, just out skilled" , seen the first couple months, it's almost two weeks of the worst hockey seen in 12 years with beyond putrid offense and a team that looks to now playing out the string. Throw in the Brian Burke potential impaitent-ness factor of getting licked at home and on the road it's not shocking to think Hartley doesn't last until mid April if things don't take even a slight uptick here in the next while.

Who replaces him?
Just dont see any way he is let go before the end of the season.
The team is in a nasty funk right now...this isnt going to last the rest of the year. He will be safe just based on the previous 3 months...the last 2 weeks arent going to get him fired.
That being said if the club continues down this road for another couple weeks...then yes the whole staff will be gonzo.
