also the best way to keep him from wanting to be a goalie is to hope he gets lit up in a game. mine thought he wanted to until he got scored on 10 times in a game, that was the end of that.

I tried "the shots that hurts". He was on the ice with his sisters Atom team and took a one timer from the coach in the sternum, nothing. I also sent him out wearing no knee pads, came back with bruises, again nothing.
He uses the team stuff, but can't use it all the time, cuz other kids are using it. He has talked himself into regular practice times with his sisters team.
