I mean, I could say "I used to work in the industry" and really, all it actually means is that I helped direct a televised football game once, 7 years ago.
Either say what it is you DO, or don't use experience in the industry as reason why your opinion holds weight.

I work as a freelancer in the television sports business and have worked for every major network in Canada, Have also worked at 8 Olympics and a few World Cups all in the television field
Last year I did over 60 NHL games in both the US and Canada
The industry is small enough that having said what I just said there will be people who if they read this will know who I am
