Normally, the scouting staff are relieved from their duties in the summer after the draft when teams are going to make a change. They may be crippling their draft by changing them mid-season.
I fully expect Button to be around right up to the draft, and I give it 50/50 as to whether he stays or not. The new GM I am sure will be working with him closely, and will make his decision in time.
Anyone know how long Button's contract runs for?
