There are no UFA's signed in the first 2 days of UFA time that sign with anyone for fair market value.
34 year old Pascal Dupuis 4 years at 3.75/year to re-sign with Pittsburgh...with a NTC 8 team no trade list...
There would be not better situation for him than his role in Pittsburgh.... why did they have to pay him so much?
Q: why did Hudler and Wideman sign with the Flames? ....A: The Flames paid them more than anyone else.
The only Free agency not totally driven by offering more money was Schultz signing in Edmonton.... He was going to get the Max contract allowed wherever he signed.
