All the bad guys somehow forgetting that Rick is behind a bus, Michonne not taking the rifle from the guy she stomped and picking a few people off from behind, everyone on the Governor's team being such horrible shots, and the fact that they were so quick to follow this guy they just met into a massive armed assault

In the comics the prison attack (with tank) is done with the Woodbury group and it's much more believable. That group already trusts the Governor, and he works them up into a fear induced frenzy to attack the prison. But in the show it seemed like they wanted to take a different direction from the comics after season 3, only to change their minds and try to shoe-horn the attack in with a brand new group. It just seemed rushed
I have to agree. That episode was a prime example of the best and worst of the show. Great when it's in high gear with zombie and gun action and bad when it's just plain silly that a group of people that just met a guy would follow him to death. Really? The guy shows up at their camp and mysteriously their leaders Martinez and Pete disappear and nobody questions that that it could be him and not only that but they then turn into bloodthirsty killers for him? It was just too much rushed too quickly and the show would have been better off not bothering with the boring flue story for all those episodes and starting with the governor side story and fleshing that out more as to me it was half a season condensed into a few episodes.

The way his girlfriend comes out (not even going to bother asking how she knew where the prison was) with the girl in her arms during the gun fight and he just grabs the kid and shoots her in the head was ridiculously silly. Also can anyone explain during a zombie attack would just leave a baby all alone on the street? She was obviously in the care of people and I don't see how they could just forget her or leave her right in the open.

I know some people think this is maybe overly critical but I can't be the only person shaking their head in disbelief at times while watching this show?
