I think it's his brother saying that he believed Rob when he denied using crack.
Course we all suspect Doug was in on the lie too, but it sounds like Doug is trying to 1. support his plausible denibility/ignorance, 2. continue supporting his brother.
He's basically saying he never knew, and Rob is still a good guy. Both of which I give about a 0.00001% chance of being true.
But you are right Bobblehead, he's not 'technically' saying that he had no knowledge of Rob smoking crack. He's sure letting us come to that conclusion though. Like how Robbie tried to twist the reporters questions around, 'you didn't ask me the right questions.' Actually at the time they had asked other ways, he just answered the ones he wanted to.
