I think those are pretty good reasons. The WJC's might not be the NHL playoffs, but I think they are a great learning experience for a 19 year old.

All good points. However, if his goal/point totals put him in the calder race, I'd like to see him have the maximum opportunity to keep putting up points in the NHL.
