It just feels like this game is being hyped by how much money it raises, at the end of the day no matter what happens this game is probably going to get savaged by the die hard MMO players that hate everything about the games they love.
Can it live up to the hype or will it be a bigger version of Sim City V because its now build a following of what might be over entitled players who will rage about every small bug or missing feature because they funded it.
I might not be saying this right, but when the emphasis is on money over features, I always worry that the end game can't match the hype.

That said, if I can reap even a year of extracting pubbie tears through piracy, podding, boarding, and generally causing mayhem, I'll be ecstatic.
Hell, you should see how freaked out the forum nerds are getting about goons already. The meta-game of forum-warrioring has already paid off in spades, and we haven't even fired a single laser.
