Screw the contract thoughts, if he's ready he's ready, and he looks like he's ready. You take that weight off of his shoulders of being sent to juniors and watch out.

I agree with both the snarky voice and the comment about him being ready, play him. Especially since in the past few seasons we have seen some very reasonable bridge contracts signed by younger players. It isn't such a heart break to "waste" a year of that ELC when we aren't a cap team. Depending on where we are around Christmas they could always give him leave to go play in the WJ's as well.
