It's eery how similar the current goaltending situation is to the Rick Tabaracci/Fred Brathwaite years. Guys that are clearly backup/journeymen goalies that got a chance to play a lot and showed some good results on a rebuilding team. And like MacDonald last night, Tabaracci and Brathwaite would both show flashes of brilliance at times that would bamdoozle some fans into thinking maybe they were more.
