OK yeah - putting it that way I tend to agree. It's just that this Flames 3rd seems slightly off to me. Thinking about it now after considering what you said about the striping, perhaps what was throwing me, and continues to throw me, is the lack of yellow. Putting the alternate crest on the front fixes that since it has so much yellow in it. Maybe framing the shoulder yoke with yellow? Maybe make the yellow stripes a touch wider? I dunno...

I'll 100% guarantee that's what's throwing you off. The slab if black they've thrown on the shoulders throws everything off. When I have a bit of free time, I'm gonna go tweak this jersey around a bit and I'm sure we can come up with something that looks great with just a few tweaks. I posted a SUPER quick edit of the jerseys a way back in the threat with some yellow and white accents on the shoulder yoke, and it was already starting to look a whole lot better
