As for Glencross's value he has consistently put up top 25 in the league LW scoring .

Someone mentioned that he has done this without a 1st line centre.

That is not true.

Starting back with 37 year old Conroy in 2008-09 whoever gets to be Glencross's centre becomes the Flames best centre.

Last year Stempniak and Stajan came back from being useless players on their last NHL contract to extending their careers ..... their linemate just happened to Glencross.

Ben freakin Street is playing at the NHL level......... (with Glencross)

The year before Jokinen has his great 60+ pt season and becomes the best UFA center.... why his #1 line mate happens to be Glencross.

The simple fact that Glencross makes his linemates significantly better than they are when they don't play with them is not to be made light of.

Will Brayden Schenn make Vinny L or Giroux or Couturier better??? Glencross almost certainly would.
