Look, I'm not saying I like the guy or that I agree with him. What I'm saying is that the author of the material that Flashpoint quoted was editorializing and insinuating that Shimkus' citation of the Bible got him named to the chair of a 'powerful' subcommittee. Can't his comments just stand on their own for our judgement without having to throw in all of this exaggeration to make it seem more important that it really is?
