Its funny that the media can do almost everything, the last bastian's for truthful reporting are long dead.
The media with help from Martin's family lawyer and various civil rights groups turned a non color issue into a color issue. That was to me really disgusting.
If you look at Zimmerman's history he's probably the furthest thing from a racist out there. From protesting a police brutality case against a black villian to taking a black girl to his high school prom etc.
To the editing of the 9/11 case which in the real world would get you fired or sued. But the fifth estate is protecting.
I don't know if they were trying to sell papers and advertising, or if they were trying to influence a perspective jury pool, we'll never know. But the whole thing was incredibly slimy.
Look, I'm definitely not on the side of the gun culture in the states I've said that repeatedly. I think both parties (Zimmerman and Martin) were stupid on the night of the shooting.
But a lot of this trial just puts a bad taste in my mouth. From the media, to the prosecutor misconduct, to the internet tough guys and idiots. This trial bought forth the worst of America.
Its shameful.
Even the article that was just posted. Short of anything really relevant and high on the typical shrieking that has infected the internet.
I'm fully onside with the verdict, it was the right verdict executed properly by the jury. Unfortunately though a young man is dead who shouldn't be dead. And another man is now the most hated man in America and is going to have to look over his shoulder for the rest of his life.
