Oh really? That's a little stupid. Considering the style Iginla has played in his career, he's not injury prone, hes no a rookie, so it would be a pretty terrible injury to cause him to not get to 10 games.
So that incentive/bonus is just there to circumnavigate the cap then. And here I though maybe it was a motivating factor.
This kind of underhanded stuff pisses me off. Its just going to lead to teams having cap issues the year after a deal has come into play. These GM's will never learn. We can look forward to a lock out every time the CBA is up for renewal. What a joke of a league.
