I think it's good. Feaster probably has no intention of trading him right now. He probably did get a few offers, but Cammalleri's trade value can (and should) be much higher than what it probably is right now. If it pisses off Cammalleri and puts him on a tear, then we might actually get something decent for him at the deadline next season.
I don't mind it when someone who is earning their keep requests a trade (provided it's done quietly, of course). It drives me absolutely bonkers when a player slides by and collects his $7M from a team, and then expects the team to make him happier by trading him, even though they'd be taking a reduced return because a 40-goal player played himself into the "3rd round pick" category in terms of trade value.
Screw that. You want out? Good. Talk to me when you're worth something.
