In Nenshi's case, however, he is giving people direction, encouraging them to get involved, pointing out areas of need, etc. He's working tirelessly to coordinate and organize various city departments and he's using his social networking savvy to make it all run incredibly smoothly. Think of any previous mayor we've had. Do you think they would be this effective? I don't. And that's not to criticize them, but to praise Nenshi.
At this point, he's utterly untouchable in the election. He could be caught snorting coke of the ass of an Equadorian hooker he smuggled into the country illegally, and it would only cause his popular vote in the election to go
up.
