At this point, 690s are overpriced ($1000) and beaten by SLI 770s (though still a great package on-die SLI)

6990 - You're still golden. Still a great sandwich card
6970 - Good, but outperformed by modern mid-range ($250-$350)
6950 - Okay, outperformed by mid-low cards (~$200)
