The fact that there are so few names of successful 1st round goaltenders to name should be proof enough.
Goalies are pure crap shoot. You cannot predict them. Why couldn't scouts predict the season Gillies would have had after his draft year?
Goaltender (and LW) is a position of depth for this team. Let's address to real needs (C, RW, D).
Fucale put up a .909 SV% on by far the best team in the CHL. That is not impressive.
