I agree that there should not be double standards when it comes to the policing of hoarders, and it sounds unlikely that this is what really happened. In one breath he was complaining that there was no governance and in the next breath he is complaining that he was restricted. Which way do you want it. In all likelihood there was room for improvement in how it was managed, but to pine for restrictions to be in place and then complain when the staff tried to impose them, seems to be hypocritical in itself.

At something like that it's simply not acceptable. You can't argue that you/they deserve to get what they want because they got there first when the reality is they didn't.
