Ket me ask you the counter question, if Rob Ford was replaced with our mayor, would people be making the dramatic and massive leaps to guilt without any actual evidence so quickly?

Neither myself or any of the others are arguing here to protect Ford or his policies, or his previous behaviour.

We're just not buying the thing blankly based on the words of a newspaper who has already erroneously accused Ford of doing something that he didn't do.

And the Gawker thing, I just don't trust any source internet or printed that's not willing to totally commit to an exclusive.

If this was Nenshi (lol at the thought of it) I would probably be asking for his resgination right about now. The gawker thing is pretty damning (as mentioned, they have no reason to make things up and if they were going to make things up they certainly wouldnt be about Rob Ford,Toronto...or Canada for that matter) but having security walk his chief of staff out the door for mentioing rehab indicates to me that the guy obvoiusly has a seroius problem (even if, by chance, that problem isn't crack) and needs to step down ASAP.
