Since they joined the league in 1997, the Canes have only drafted 2 players (Igor Kynazev 1st rounder 2001 and Mattias Lindstrom 3rd rounder 2009) that played outside of NA during their draft year in the 1st, 2nd or 3rd rounds of the entry draft (40 players).
For some reason they don't like drafting players that are playing outside of NA (perhaps due to lack of scouting in Europe?)
Pretty good indicator they might not pick Nichuskin or Lindholm

My Guess is Carolina either trades their pick, or goes off the board and picks Nurse.
Colorado: Jones
Florida: Mackinnon
Tampa: Drouin
Nashville: Lindholm/Barkov (They have had success with Swedish players in the past)
Carolina: Nurse or Trade Back
Calgary: Lindholm/Barkov/Monahan
