I do not want to see us pick Petan at all in the first round. I know he is putting up rediculous numbers with Portland, however he is an undersized centre and I see him being a player who lights up Jr but cannot make the jump to the NHL.
I personally want a centre with our top pick and then look at defensemen later. Just based on draft history the best defensemen have come from the late first and second round.
