If you're talking about purchasing an entire season (or more) then that is a different story. Ticket rights are not transferable to third parties other than immediate family. OTOH there is nothing to prevent a contractual arrangement between a STH and someone - it's just that the original STH has to stay in place. Or the parties need to get married.
You can't transfer but you can list a second name on the season ticket account. That person will have some rights, but the primary holder has full control of the account. As it was put to me, the flames will handle a transfer request on a "case by case basis", but nothing is guaranteed. If you have been splitting seasons with a friend for a number of years and listed as the secondary holder, a transfer may be approved.
