Hartley has to go unless the goal is to tank like the Oilers did and pick 1st overall multiple years. Bring in Ward as at least he knows defensive structure and would be a hell of a lot better bringing in the rookies. I don't want another year like this year where he is destroying the confidence of young players like Sven all the while giving veteran players all the ice time on a team that gives up 4+ goals every game.

Why bring in Ward now when the Flames are barely even a team - the core is gone and they have to start creating an new identity from scratch. He's a good coach and has a history of winning with young players in the AHL, so why put him in a position to fail? Firing the current coach won't do anything; they aren't going to be a winning team for a while because of major roster flaws, and that should be a foregone conclusion by now.
