Teams are going to have to pair down their rosters to meet the demands of a lower cap. Flames will be one of the few with cap space to spend on players. Unlike other years of UFA's the upcoming compliance buyout will mean there will be alot more players on the market. It's not going to be like years past where the cap was always going up.
So having a pick somehwere in the top 6 is something to be negitive about?
