Did he have better offers and decided to take the worst one?

Feaster may not be guided by the ghost of Sam Pollock, but obviously this is what's out there right now.

All this talk of "at least an "A" prospect and the first and a project and bla bla bla" all sounds well and good, but the other GM's either:

A) weren't offering the dream packages

B) Feaster actively decided to take the worst offer he could find

Which one is more likely?

For Bouwmeester in particular, this is exactly the kind of trade we would have freaked out about a year ago, but it would have been the other way around.

The Flames were on the fringe of the playoffs and if they had dumped a first rounder and two prospects for an overpaid, underachieving defenseman for just a hope of making the playoffs, we would have considered it a disaster.

Now it goes the other way, and Feaster sucks for doing it.

What fleury said here. I simply think Feaster doesn't have the "street crud" that someone like Brian Burke does to get the best deal. Nice guy, tries hard... but not the best option for being a hockey GM.

Yeah... that didn't work so well for ROR...

Also, since all the fun talk about law school's and top 2%s... I convinced a Ivy League grad student to eat glue, cause its my birthday. Just sayin...
