if the reports are true, the flames should immediately send him to the heat. Then when he either gets claimed on waivers or clears and refuses to report to his new team he will be in violation of his contract and the flames won't have to pay him. Not a huge deal, but at least they can save some dough on a goalie who would be clearly going through the motions at this point, why bother paying him.
