Still think people are making too much deal over the $6.5M 2nd year salary.
--The Cap hit is $5M; 2nd year is $6.5M
--We're going to buy people out in the summer, and have cap room. We have no young RFAs due for big raises. Colorado has a worse cap situation with Landeskog, Duchene, expecting big raises.
--We can possibly resign him in the next year, at a rate of ~$5M/avg, which is what he signed for.
--If he completely sucks, we can take him to arbitration.
