No. That was Conan at his unfunniest ever. NBC really limited the type of humour on that show. He was always great at silly and unscripted comedy. The Tonight Show is as bland and scripted as it gets. He hasn't been the same since and is only moderately funnier on TBS.
Give me the days of Late Night with Conan O'Brien.
Watch, Jimmy Fallon is great in that slot right now because there are no restrictions. Put him on an hour earlier and he'll almost definitely suck.
