Funny to see the "blow it up" calls again...The way we are going we don't even have to blow it up, we're right on track to finish low and draft high. Wake up sports fans: the rebuild is happening before your eyes but without the fanfare of the Oilers rebuild. What we need now is patience, intelligence, and long-term vision, not more knee-jerk patchwork deals that will hopefully squeak us into a playoff spot.

So you call drafting Mckinnon 1st over and chucking him on a line with Iginla and Tanguay next year a rebuild?
This is the oiler way. They thought they where good, and kept all the assets they had, and kept adding yet tanking.
We need to sell off while we can, and get something in return to help speed up the rebuild, while icing a team that can actually compete.
This team is poorly constructed as the Darryl Sutter 20 goal scorer all stars he put out, and everyone though each player would bounce back and score 20 goals.
This team sucks, and it needs to be destroyed and rebuilt.
