Only been to one game out in Ottawa but for me public transit was not too bad. They did a decent job of routing buses to the arena for the game and having plenty available for the people leaving. However that was for a one off situation.
I could see how being a season ticket holder for that team could be brutal having to go through that process 41 nights a year.
