So when you meet a new dog, do you introduce yourself by sniffing its butt... maybe hump a little leg? When you have dinner guests, the alpha eats first and afterwards you celebrate by ripping up the neighbour's garbage?
Forcing them into a relationship with humans doesn't make them part society. In fact, the way dogs behave would be considered extremely anti-social if we applied the same societal and social behaviour expectations to dogs as we did humans.
